Turn saved recipes into meal plans

You do not need more recipes. You need the ones you already saved to show up when you are hungry.

File recipe Reels into Restash, then ask for a week of dinners.

The recipe graveyard

Instagram and TikTok are excellent at inspiration and terrible at Tuesday. Saved recipes sit in a feed-shaped pile: no ingredients list you can shop from, no sense of what is quick vs weekend, no way to ask for “three dinners under 30 minutes.”

File first, plan second

Meal plans fail when the source material is scattered. Start by sending recipe saves into Restash as you find them — share sheet from Instagram or TikTok, or a screenshot of a recipe card.

Once a handful of recipes live on your board, Ask becomes useful: dinner ideas from what you already liked, not another random feed suggestion.

A simple weekly rhythm

  1. During the week, save only recipes you would actually cook.
  2. Sunday (or whenever you shop), open Restash and ask for a meal plan from your saves.
  3. Pull a short grocery list from the plan — cilantro, limes, whatever you keep forgetting.
  4. Cook what you already intended. Skip hunting for a new Reel at 6pm.

Why this beats another notes app

Notes and folders still make you do the filing work by hand. Restash is built for social saves: the format you already use when inspiration hits. The vault is the middle step between “save” and “use.”
