Restash ("we", "us") operates the Restash mobile app and related services at getrestash.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

Information we collect

• Account data — email, username, and authentication identifiers when you sign up.
• Content you save — links, notes, images, and metadata you add to your vault.
• Usage data — app interactions, feature usage, and crash/diagnostic logs to improve reliability.
• Purchase data — subscription status via Apple App Store and RevenueCat (we do not store full payment card details).

How we use information

• Provide core features: saving, organizing, search, AI-assisted queries, and optional email summaries.
• Process subscriptions and AI credit limits.
• Send transactional emails (account, security, optional folder digests you enable).
• Improve and secure the service.

Instagram integration

If you send a direct message to our Instagram account (@restash) or mention it in a comment, we receive your Instagram-scoped user ID, the message or comment content, and references to any media you share. We use this solely to save the content to your Restash vault and to reply confirming the save. We do not sell or share this data. You can request deletion at hello@getrestash.com.

AI processing

When you use Ask, Studio, or similar features, relevant saved content may be sent to our AI providers (e.g. Google Gemini) to generate responses. We do not use your private vault content to train public models.

• Supabase (database & auth)
• Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store billing)
• RevenueCat (subscription management)
• Resend (transactional and optional digest email)
• Meta / Instagram (messaging and comment webhooks for save-to-vault)
• Cloud hosting (Railway)

Data retention & deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You may request deletion by emailing hello@info.getrestash.com. We will delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period unless law requires retention.
